Description

Lightning arrestor poles are base plate mounted poles, hot dip galvanized after fabrication. They can be used in a whole spectrum of locations but are generally used in substations or next to important structures that require lightning protection. In some cases the pole may be used as the down conductor or the pole may serve as the structural element to support a proprietary lightning protection system incorporating a terminal on a FRP mast connected to an electrically isolated down conductor. Standard pole heights are 12.0m to 30.0m depending on customer’s requirements. Every product supplied by GM Poles is designed and certified by an Australian Registered Engineer.
