A new state of the art train stabling facility at Rossmore, west of Sydney was opened in January 2015 by Transport for NSW as part of the 11.4 kilometre South West Rail Link from Glenfield to Leppington. The facility provides general lighting for the stabling and maintenance areas for the latest, modern passenger car sets with eleven platforms and perimeter security lighting for the entire site. GM Poles designed and supplied in excess of 350 mid hinged lighting poles for:-
– General platform lighting and specialised perimeter security poles with KIM light fittings.
– Specialty mid hinged CCTV Camera poles with public address speakers.
– Train Amalgamation lighting poles incorporating Pierlite heavy duty fluorescent fittings and remote switching.
